You've Got to Ask

"What do you want Me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."  "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you."  Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. (Mark 10:51-52; NIV)

Can we hear Him reaching out to us each day?  He's asking us as well, "What do you want Me to do for you?" He wants us to tell Him what we need.  Do we know what we need?  If we aren't aware of what we need then its hard to express them to Him.

His desire is to do for us what He did for this blind man.  He wants us to believe that whatever we're asking for, He is able to do.  He knows our needs and wants to meet them.  So often we don't get our needs met.  Why?

It's not because He isn't able.  It's because we haven't brought them to the One who is able to meet our needs.  Trust today in the One who cares about what you're enduring.

Thank you for the lovely, encouraging post! It's a great reminder to have faith and pray about our needs.

And what if we do tell Him, Beckie? And healing is still withheld? An age-old question, I know.

Love you. Hope you begin writing your devo blogs soon. Will try to be faithful in reading them again. They are very encouraging.

Love you, sister. Call me sometime. mmwwaa
