Well that isn't easy to do, is it? In fact, I would say that without the Spirit of the Lord living in us and enabling us to do it, we can't. The Lord has things for us to learn when He allows temptations to come our way, and one is to lean on Him in it.
If most of you are like me, we like life to be free of any kind of trouble. However, it's in these hard times that the Lord can truly be seen in our lives if we release our full trust into His hands.
How are we doing on that today?

We do need the Lord to overcome temptations, that's for sure! When we can resist, learn an important lesson and draw closer to knowing and trusting God, then it certainly is joy!
